Blog Entry #2: May 2025

Didn't think I'd be posting a new blog entry so soon but um... some things have happened. This one will be short, sweet, and to the point. We got into a car acciedent.

On the anniversary of our marriage we were just driving along in the middle of the day when suddenly, someone smacked into the back of my car. Seriously, it was that weird. The highway patrol said they had no idea why this could have happened and we probably won't ever learn because the truck that hit us fled the scene. Needless to say, this has been so annoying but we are very lucky to be okay. My body took a beating from the seatbelt and impact, I've been healing up at home after some doctor visits. Other than that, it's possibly lights out for my loyal Matrix I've been driving for the last 10 years... so we're also car shopping.

I've withdrawn from an upcoming conference as a result of everything, but am still on track for the chapters I need to write this Summer as well as for my PhD applications! Hopefully I will be coming on here later with a less exciting tale.
